Irinax’s Chosen – Drow Soldiers

What is life without meaning? What is death without purpose? For Irinax’s Chosen, both of these questions are answered in their service to the Broodmother. Their life as at her beck and call, and their death marks them as martyrs, or fuel and sustenance for future generations of her spawn. But their undying, fervent love of Irinax does not make them weak, as their zealotry makes them deadly, calculating and cunning foes.

Irinax’s Chosen – Drow Soldiers

It was one-hundred-and-seventy years ago that the Cult of Irinax sunk its fangs into the politics of Lo Fuin’s Drow. Iriksha was their target, the largest Drow city under the swamps, but also the most xenophobic, making them susceptible to the tenants of Irinax, which bade them thrive underground and warned them of evil interlopers corrupted by the surface. Though barely a quarter of a Drow’s life has passed since the cult took hold, it has infested every aspect of Iriksha’s politics.

But it’s most prevalently seen in the youth of Iriksha, the malleable minds of the young who did not know a world before Irinax. Indoctrinated by the cult from childhood, they are raised as fervent followers of the Broodmother, and indeed much of their early education revolves around Irinax and her tenets. So these youth become the agents of Irinax when they are of age, acting as zealous soldiers willing to freely give their lives to their supposed higher power.

When recruited as soldiers, they become masters of combat and navigating the Underground of Lo Fuin. Bows, Glaives and Swords are their weapons of choice, and they’re trained equally in using them against the perilous monsters of the deep, and against dissenters who would besmirch the name of Irinax.

Our models are conceived on paper and then bought to life as concept art by our dedicated arts team. These concepts are then passed on to our sculptors who meticulously create the stunning models we offer.

Whether its tabletop adventures, or having a larger canvas to paint, we ensure we supply both 32mm and 75mm of every model and base.

Supports can be tricky. We’ve always found the best way to learn is to try and try again. However we understand adding supports isn’t for everyone. That’s why all our models have pre-supported and un-supported variants.
