The full story
Sturian – Halfling Ranger
An unsung bounty hunter who holds a long list of bold, unverifiable claims. Claims like: he was one of those who was framed for King Hjolmir I’s murder, leading to the Liturium War; that he slew the Travelling Jack in the eaves of Baldur’s Reach Forest, sending the demon to the Abyss. That he was present during the siege of Fort Sternwick, sent there by the Mandril Vilor to eliminate Sternwick himself, braving the battle with his party to take Sternwick’s head before the Golden Griffins. It was this final contract that would see Sturian and his party disband, for the narrow brushes they had with death, and the chaos that unfolded that day. Along with the guilt that followed him with every passing word he overheard about the Liturium War, it became too much to bear.
Years later, he had spent through the gold he had saved over the years working for the Mandril Vilor, and fell to freelance bounty hunting instead, taking low-risk contracts against outlaws who were in far off reaches. The places no one else bothered to go, rather than dared to go. It was one of these contracts that led him to Westlook, where the bounty at first was only for 50 gold pieces, but weeks after his arrival, an Inquisitor followed. Then another. He would come to learn from eavesdropping that they sought the same quarry, as he suspected, but the man he was sent to capture for arson in the city of Veinril, was in fact a rebel leader, with a bounty on his head twenty times higher than what Sturian was seeking.
Now he must race to find his quarry, Garrick Selmey, before the Inquisitors. Unbeknownst to Sturian, Garrick is a powerful arcanist. Even more unknown to him is that Garrick has long disappeared into the depths of the town’s strange cult. Whilst the halfling has come to realise Westlook is not-quite-right, he has simply chalked it up to it being an isolated town five-hundred miles from nowhere, more than anything else. As his search for Selmey continues, he will come to realise that much darker truths lie beneath.
Exceptional Quality
Our models are conceived on paper and then bought to life as concept art by our dedicated arts team. These concepts are then passed on to our sculptors who meticulously create the stunning models we offer.
32mm and 75mm variants
Whether its tabletop adventures, or having a larger canvas to paint, we ensure we supply both 32mm and 75mm of every model and base.
Presupported
Supports can be tricky. We’ve always found the best way to learn is to try and try again. However we understand adding supports isn’t for everyone. That’s why all our models have pre-supported and un-supported variants.
