Depth Dismemberer – Subterranean Horror
Native to Lo Fuin, the Depth Dismemberer’s, despite their names, are encountered both above and below ground. Whilst their preferred hunting grounds are below the surface, owing to the dim lighting that allows them to easily ambush their prey, they will also prowl the swamp above when their hunts below are proving unfruitful. They are opportunist attackers, and will generally focus on prey who they deem to be off guard or distracted, for they are exceptionally quick at a short distance, but their gangly form means they cannot pursue long past their initial burst of speed.
Members of the World Explorers & Hunters League have come to learn their vision is mostly based on movement, and that the creatures can be easily distracted by illusions or something as simple as a rock throw. If one is approaching an area and is not aware of their presence, freezing like a statue until it disperses can be the best course of action to avoid a fight. If fighting is the only option, members are advised to do so with extreme caution as the creature’s blades can easily pierce through plate and shatter shields. The creature is most deadly when given a chance to charge, so sticking close against its feet is the best way to ensure they do not become an easy target.

Supports can be tricky. We’ve always found the best way to learn is to try and try again. However we understand adding supports isn’t for everyone. That’s why all our models have pre-supported and un-supported variants.
